I’m Leah. It’s nice to meet you…

​

I hope I will have the chance to meet you and assist you with what I know about acupuncture. We can get to know each other better when we meet, but here's some information about me in the meantime so you have a clearer picture of my experience as a health practitioner and as a person.

​

I completed a Bachelor of Health Science majoring in acupuncture from Endeavour College of Natural Health in Brisbane, Queensland in 2015 where I I graduated with distinction and was awarded the medal of academic excellence for highest achievement in acupuncture across Australia. In recent years I have held positions at Endeavour College as alumni representative for the Course Advisory Committees for both the Acupuncture and Biosciences departments.

I am a parent; I have ADHD; I identify as transgender female and began the process of transitioning from male to female with feminising hormone therapy in April 2022; and before beginning my studies in 2010, I was a professional musician since the age of 16.

​

In the clinic room I bring with me my knowledge and expertise, not just as an acupuncturist, yet also as a human being with life experience in dealing with pain and helping others heal from theirs. While I have a special interest in treating pain and musculoskeletal disorders, I treat anyone who walks through my door with the same interest and care.
