I’m Leah. It’s nice to meet you…
I completed a Bachelor of Health Science majoring in acupuncture from Endeavour College of Natural Health in Brisbane, Queensland in 2015 where I I graduated with distinction and was awarded the medal of academic excellence for highest achievement in acupuncture across Australia. In recent years I have held positions at Endeavour College as alumni representative for the Course Advisory Committees for both the Acupuncture and Biosciences departments.
The one thing I love more than exploring the underlying mechanisms of acupuncture is teaching it! In the past I have taught clinical examination and acupuncture therapeutics and I am currently a lecturer and acupuncture student clinic supervisor at Endeavour College. I love sharing what I know with people and watching my amazing students develop.
I am a transgender female and am blessed with intensely present ADHD which means I can get overly obsessed with things that interest me, and the journey of getting to the point of acupuncture’s mysteries has been ongoing since I started studying it in 2011. I genuinely hope Acucentrix helps to better your understanding of this incredibly unique form of medicine. Mentoring sessions may be done in person in my home clinic in Brisbane or over Skype/ Facebook Messenger/ Whatsapp etc.
